Things to do in March NYC

We are almost through the worst of it! Winter is almost in the rearview. We have some nice days ahead and nothing is better than celebrating a nice day in NYC than being out and about. We have a list of MUST DOs for you this March.

Either you’re Irish, or you just like drinking green beer. Or you just like beer. Or you like wearing a “Kiss Me, I’m Irish” T-shirt (even though you’re not Irish) and making out with strangers after drinking a lot of beer. Whatever your reason for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day (beer), there are tons of ways to show your Irish pride. From the parade itself, to the annual St. Patrick’s Day pub crawl, where there will be beer (and whisky), we’re sure that you’ll find yourself having memory-less night and a hung-over morning.

The Sweet 16 is almost upon us, and MSG hosts one of the greatest tournaments in the world. It’s anybody’s contest, as the best college basketball players from around the country descend on New York City and fill us up with passion, sweat, and plenty of amazing shots. The NCAA Tournament begins on March 24 and ends with the championship game on March 26. Sure, you could watch it with your pals at home on your couch, but there’s nothing like watching your favorite team duke it out with thousands of cheering fans around you.

The circus is coming to town. And that town is Newark, NJ, ParkFast’s hometown! On their farewell tour before Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus folds up its tent for good, this classic big top show plays at the Prudential Center for four days. If you can make it out, it’s the end of an era that your kids will be able tell their grandchildren about.
