THE PLACE: Patsy’s Italian Restaurant, 236 West 56th Street

THE DISH: New York’s best-loved Italian restaurant, family-owned and -operated for over 70 years, will be celebrating Valentine’s Day by offering a special aphrodisiac menu featuring arugala salad with shaved parmesan cheese and basil vinaigrette, baked clams, Chicken Fra Diavolo, and Patsy’s Passion cocktail made with Vodka, Prosecco, Chambord, and Creme de Cacao. For dessert, chef Sal Scognamillo will prepare Patsy’s famous Warm Chocolate Cake served with strawberries, honey and whipped cream and served with coffee. $65/person.

THE DISH: This New American restaurant near Union Square will serve a three-course Valentine’s Day menu. Appetizers include Aquarello Risotto with Taleggio, grilled radicchio and toasted walnuts, and entrees such as roast suckling pig and whole roasted duck for two. For dessert, try the Migliorelli Farms Fuji apple crisp with caramelized Fuji apple, toasted almond, Bourbon streusel and caramel ice cream. $75/person
