The Brooklyn Bridge will be closed to Manhattan-bound traffic from midnight Friday to 6 am Monday. Alternative routes are the Manhattan Bridge, the Williamsburg Bridge or MTA-tolled facilities: the Hugh L. Carey Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel, Robert F Kennedy (Triboro) Bridge or Queens Midtown Tunnel. Brooklyn-bound traffic will access the Brooklyn Bridge from Pearl Street or Centre Street, using a contraflow configuration. This weekend only there will be additional access to the bridge via the Park Row ramp from Frankfort Street. This alternative access will be available only from 6 am Saturday to 1 am Sunday and from 9 am to 11 pm on Sunday. Throughout this closure the Manhattan Bridge will accommodate 5 lanes of traffic inbound/westbound and two lanes outbound/eastbound.
One of four lanes on the Williamsburg Bridge eastbound to Brooklyn will be closed from 6 am to 2 pm Saturday to facilitate maintenance work.
The FDR Drive southbound service road between East 34th Street and East 30th Street will be closed on Saturday and/or Sunday from 6 am to 9 pm to facilitate crane operation. There is no impact on the FDR Drive entrance ramp.
The Riverside Drive service roadway between Tiemann Place and St. Claire Place will be closed on Saturday and/or Sunday from 8 am to 4 pm to facilitate crane operation.
The following streets in Manhattan will be closed from 6 am Saturday through 12:01 am Monday to facilitate crane operation: Bridge Street between Whitehall Street and Broad Street; Broad Street between Water Street and Stone Street; Pearl Street between Hanover Square and Moore Street; and the intersections of Broad Street at Bridge Street; Stone Street and Pearl Street:
The following streets will be closed on Sunday:
* The following streets in Manhattan will be closed from 11:30 am to 1 pm for the National Kidney Foundation Walk: South Street between John Street and Fulton Street; Fulton Street between South Street and Pearl Street; Pearl Street between Fulton Street and Frankfort Street; and Frankfort Street between Pearl Street and Park Row.
* Park Avenue between 50th Street and 65th Street and 65th Street between Park Avenue and 5th Avenue in Manhattan will be closed from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm for the JAFRIA Association of North America.
* The following streets in the Bronx will be closed from 11 am to 2 pm for the Bronx Veterans Day Parade: Lafayette Avenue between East Tremont Avenue and Balcom Avenue; East Tremont Avenue (southbound) between Balcom Avenue and Randall Avenue; Randall Avenue between East Tremont Avenue and Ellsworth Avenue; and Ellsworth Avenue between Randall Avenue and Veteran Memorial Park.
