One tube of the Hugh L. Carey Brooklyn Battery Tunnel will be closed from 9 pm Friday through 5 am Monday. One lane will be open in each direction in the remaining tube. Motorists should expect delays.
Two southbound lanes and one northbound lane on West Street/9A in the vicinity of the Vesey Street Pedestrian Bridge will be maintained from 10 am to 10 pm Saturday and Sunday. One lane in each direction will be open to traffic from 10 pm Friday to 10 am Saturday, from 10 pm Saturday to 10 am Sunday and from 10 pm Sunday to 5 am Monday to facilitate a NY State DOT overhead bridge removal operation. During this weekend project motorists exiting the Hugh L. Carey Brooklyn Battery Tunnel into Manhattan and destined for northbound West Street will be detoured to Trinity Place to Church Street.
