The Manhattan Bridge south upper (Brooklyn-bound) roadway will be closed from 7 am to 7 pm on Saturday and from 9 am to 7 pm on Sunday to facilitate NYCDOT bridge reconstruction work. During these times there will be two lanes eastbound to Brooklyn open to traffic on the lower level, and two lanes open to traffic westbound to Manhattan on the north upper roadway.
One of three eastbound lanes on the Brooklyn Bridge will be closed Saturday from 6 am to 2 pm to facilitate NYCDOT bridge maintenance.
The following streets will be closed on Saturday:
* 6th Avenue between 42nd Street and 56th Street in Manhattan will be closed from 11 am to 6 pm for the Forum’s Children of the World Festival Global Role Models.
* Louis Nine Boulevard between Southern Boulevard and Intervale Avenue in the Bronx will be closed from 11 am to 6 pm for Bronx Summer Walks on Louis Nine Boulevard.
* The following streets in Queens will be closed from 4 pm to 5 pm for the Shelter Rock Seventh Day Adventist Church Parade: Meyer Avenue between 157th Street and 158th Street; 157th Street between Meyer Avenue and Foch Boulevard; 155th Street between 109th Avenue and Foch Boulevard; 111th Avenue between 158th Street and 157th Street.
The following streets in Manhattan will be closed on Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm for the Celebrate Israel Parade: 5th Avenue between 52nd Street and 74th Street; 52nd Street to 56th Street between Park Avenue and 7th Avenue; 74th Street to 78th Street between 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue.
