One of four eastbound (Brooklyn-bound) lanes of the Williamsburg Bridge will be closed Saturday from 6 am to 2 pm to facilitate bridge maintenance work.
The FDR Drive southbound exit ramp to Pearl Street/Civic Center will be closed from 11 pm Friday to 6 am Monday to facilitate ramp rehabilitation. Motorists should use the prior South Street exit or the following Whitehall Street/Staten Island Ferry exit. Access to the Brooklyn Bridge will not be not affected.
The Thomson Avenue approach ramps to the upper roadways of the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge will be closed Saturday and Sunday from 2 am until 2 pm to facilitate MTA overhead sign structure work. During this time motorists should use the lower level of the bridge or enter the upper level from 21st Street at Queens Plaza North.
East 59th Street between 2nd Avenue and the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge entrance ramp will be closed Saturday or Sunday from 7 am to 2 pm to facilitate crane operation. Access to the bridge will not be affected.
East 59th Street between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue will be closed from 7 am to 4 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate NYC Department of Design & Construction trunk water main and utility work. Motorists should use alternate routes and posted detours to access the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge such as 2nd Avenue southbound or East 58th Street eastbound onto the 2nd Avenue contra flow lane.
